One area of literacy acquisition that strongly interests me is when one key character in a story acts as both the sponsor as a facilitator and through withholding. It allows the narrator to express growth, which helps to demonstrate maturity and progress in the area of English. Not only this but it helps to get the narrators central idea across to the reader, therefore it is necessary in literacy narratives. It also may strongly correlate with identity shifts throughout literacy narratives.
